This was a fun shot to capture. Around midnight I drove to Corona Del Mar, flicked my headlamp on and worked my way down the rocks to get to Little Corona Beach. I noticed the tide was in and I wasn’t going to get the section of the beach by way of the normal access. So I went over to area I wanted to be at, rockclimbed down to the beach and rock hopped out over slippery rocks to the lifeguard as the surf broke around me. I always enjoy capturing a shot more when there’s some adventure and risk involved.
