I really like this capture. It was a spur of a moment shot. I was shooting Mammoth Rock over Lake George, but it was a full moon out so that shot didn’t turn out the way I wanted it. This is one of the drawback when you’re invited on a spur of the moment trip and you don’t know nor research the geography of the place your visiting to plan your shot list. In any case, I had just picked up my tripod and was about to pack it in when I looked over at the Lake George Fishing Boat Rentals and thought that it would make a really nice photo, and decided to reset my gear to capture the moment. I’m glad I did.
