Welcome to the Robert Rollins Pictures Website

Welcome to the Robert Rollins Pictures website!  All of us at Robert Rollins Pictures are thrilled you stopped by to visit.  I have a fantastic team working with me here at Robert Rollins Pictures.  The many accomplishments I have achieved I couldn’t have done without their dedication and unwavering belief in the stories we tell.

Please make yourself at home and have a look around.  There are many things for you to see on the Robert Rollins Pictures website.

Beginning in September we will debut the Arn and Ed webcomics written by Edward Fik and myself and illustrated by Edward Joseph Fik IV.  The Arn and Ed webcomics are serialized, one-page comics, released monthly on the Robert Rollins Pictures website.  This will allow you a chance to get to know Arn Fredrickson and Ed Brooks, the two lead characters, that will appear in the upcoming production of my next short film The Magic Hourglass and the feature film Lanterns for the Dead, which we are currently completing the investment package so we can move ahead with production in Fall 2011.

If you are interested in knowing more about Lanterns for the Dead, please venture through our Feature Films portal where you will be treated to the film’s synopsis, teaser poster, teaser trailer, storyboard animatics, production photos and production updates.

In November, we will begin production on the Arn and Ed short film The Magic Hourglass.  This film is a project I’ve wanted to direct ever since Ed and I first wrote the script in 2007.  Unfortunately due to the project’s scale and the film’s budgeted price tag I have been unable to go forward with The Magic Hourglass until now.  I feel very fortunate to finally be able to direct and produce the Arn and Ed adventure!  It promises to be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to share it with all of you.

During the production of The Magic Hourglass we will be filming a three-part production diary series that will be released on the Robert Rollins Pictures website in December.  These production diaries will allow you a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film and give you a chance to get to know the cast and crew of The Magic Hourglass.

I hope you will continue to visit the Robert Rollins Pictures website and join us in this adventure of making movies for years to come.
